Værløse Blue Hawks are the fixture Skovlunde circles on the calendar, a meeting talked about by both sides as an old feud rather than an ordinary league date.
The name BMS predates the club that now carries it. The present-day BMS Herlev only came into being in 2014, when Falcons, Glostrup IC and BMS Skovlunde merged into one club, and for its first years played under the name BMS Herlev Wolfpack. Promotion back to the Basketligaen followed in the 2016–17 season.
Home games are shared between the Ballerup Super Arena, which holds 6,500 for basketball, and the smaller Herlev Hallen.
