FK Majevica Lopare

That changed inside three seasons.

The climb started with the 2016/17 title in the Bijeljina–Posavina district league. It became something else in 2024/25, when Majevica won the Regionalna Liga Republike Srpske – Istok and earned promotion to the Druga Liga RS. Along the way it skipped rungs rather than climbing them one at a time.

Cup form followed the same trajectory. In 2025/26 Majevica beat Leotar and Rudar Prijedor to reach the semi-finals of the Kup Republike Srpske, falling to Radnik Bijeljina only on penalties, and reached the round of 16 in the Kup BiH before Velež Mostar ended the run. The club has never lifted either cup.

Further back, the club's one link to the national team dates to 1975–77, when Goran Miljanović, later a Yugoslavia international with Lierse and Sloboda Tuzla, played his early football at the Gradski Stadion in Lopare.
