Omarska

Omarska is a settlement outside Prijedor, in Republika Srpska, and the football club was brought together with Milan Anđić and Svetozar Timarac in 1973. The opening game, on 9 September that year, ended in a 2–0 defeat to Krajišnik of Dragočaj, with Drago Romanić in the dugout and Miloš Gavranović wearing the armband. The name on the shirt has not changed since.

The Bosnian War stopped organised football here altogether, and when the club picked itself up in 1996 it did so from the ground: the pitch redone, changing rooms built, fencing put up around what is now the Gradski stadion Omarska. A 600-seat stand followed, its foundations finished in 2010.

The 2020/21 Second League of Republika Srpska – West title, taken with 35 points, sent them up to the First League for the first time; they came back down in 2023/24, eighteenth and out, but turned straight back to winning the same Second League – West in 2024/25 and returned to the top flight for 2025/26.

Across town, FK Rudar-Prijedor supplies the fixture that still gets called a derby whenever the two meet, not least in the Cup of the City of Prijedor, and it is that meeting, more than any league table, that Omarska's crowd turns up for.
