IMT Novi Beograd

New Belgrade grew up as a district of tower blocks and factory yards on the far bank of the Sava. That is where Tractorists comes from, and it has stuck through every division the club has passed through.

For most of that time the football was local. Two titles in the Belgrade zone league, one in 1987 and one in 2014, mark the pace of it — long stretches in the fourth tier, then a push upward. The Belgrade zone of the Serbian League came in 2019/20, and three seasons later IMT won the First League of Serbia and went straight into the SuperLiga.

Promotion brought a problem the club could not solve at home. Since 2024/25 IMT have played their home fixtures at Lagator Stadium in Loznica — a rented ground, not a move. The yellow and black stayed.

One name from the lower-division years has travelled further than the club. Đorđe Petrović spent the 2018–19 season at IMT on loan from Čukarički's academy and played seven matches — his first professional football. He went on to Chelsea, then Bournemouth, and into the Serbia squad.

The fixtures that matter locally are against neighbours rather than giants. Radnički Beograd, Zemun and Čukarički are the ones with an edge to them; the proximity of Partizan's stadium to the IMT base has never made those games a derby in any real sense.
