Kuressaare

Kuressaare's only league title came in 1999, when the club won the Esiliiga and earned its first promotion to the Meistriliiga, Estonia's top flight, ahead of the 2000 season. That year's top scorer finished with 27 goals; the club's own founder, Aivar Pohlak, still turning out as player-coach at the time, added 24 of his own.

Pohlak had set the club up three years earlier, on 14 March 1997, building it out of the youth side B.B. Sport and taking on the first president's and coach's roles himself.

Staying up proved harder than getting there. Kuressaare dropped back to the Esiliiga, returned in 2004 on a fifth-place finish once the Meistriliiga expanded, fell again, then won the Esiliiga B in 2016. A fifth-place finish in the Esiliiga the following year brought a second promotion, this time because other clubs turned down their places. Since 2018 the club has held its spot in the Meistriliiga without a break.

The nickname Viikingid — Vikings — points to Saaremaa, the island the club represents; the same imagery sits on the badge. The home kit is yellow, the away strip blue.

Marti Pukk led the club's scoring charts in four separate seasons between 2004 and 2011, then managed the side from 2017 to 2025. Sander Laht carried the same role through Kuressaare's return to the top flight, finishing top scorer in 2015, 2017 and 2018. Marko Lukka became the club's first fully professional player in 2020 and has since played for Estonia's national team. In the Estonian Cup, the quarter-final has been as far as Kuressaare has gone, reached in 2001, 2014, 2023 and 2024.

Kuressaare linnastaadion, the club's home ground, holds 2,000.
