Llapi

Fadil Vokri was 16 when he started playing for the club in Podujevë in 1976. He stayed three years and, later, president of the country's football federation. Llapi withdrew the number 9 in his honour.

The club he joined was already the oldest in the town, formed on 5 July 1932 and known through the Yugoslav years as FK Lab.

What Llapi are known for came later, and it came in cup football. In 2021 they beat KF Dukagjini on penalties after a 1-1 draw, then returned the following spring and saw off FC Drita 2-1 — the first club to win the Kosovan Cup in consecutive seasons. In between came the Supercup, taken 3-1 from FC Prishtina in extra time.

Second place in 2023-24 remains the high mark.

Home is the Zahir Pajaziti Stadium, where reconstruction began in August 2025 to bring the ground up to UEFA Category 3 standards, at a cost of close to €2m.

Benjamin Emini, the captain, has made 255 appearances.
