Vushtrria

Vučitrn's football club traces back to a working-class team fielded in the town in the 1920s, taking shape long before Kosovo had its own league to play in. The club has carried three different names since — Radnički Vučitrn under the old Yugoslav system in the 1960s, Kosova Vushtrria in the early 1970s, and Llamkos Kosova after a local galvanised-steel plant, Llamkos GalvaSteel, bought the club in 2012. A later reorganisation returned it to the name it carries now, KF Vushtrria, and to founding papers dated 9 May 1922, which make it the oldest football club in Kosovo.

The club plays in blue and white at the Stadiumi "Ferki Aliu", which holds around 6,500. Its one league title came in 2013/14, when Vushtrria won the Superliga — the first championship of any kind in the club's history. Relegation followed in 2023/24, but the club went straight back up as First League champions in 2024/25.

Milot Rashica came through the club's youth ranks and made his first-team debut there in 2012, before a career that took him to Beşiktaş, Galatasaray and Werder Bremen with the Kosovo national team. Armen Dallu followed a similar path in reverse: a Vushtrria youth player between 1997 and 2002, he went on to win 64 caps for Albania and has since returned to the club as head coach for the 2024–2026 spell, with his brother Ardin, a Kosovo international, on the books since 2024.

For a club with a hundred years behind it, the honours list stays thin — one league title, no Kosovo Cup, and a pair of semi-final exits, in 2017/18 and 2022/23, as the closest it has come to one.
