New Edubiase United's sharpest rivalry runs against AshantiGold SC, an Ashanti Region derby.

Moro left for AIK in Sweden, while another product of the side, Asiedu Attobrah, moved on to Kortrijk in Belgium.

New Edubiase reached the top flight for the first time in the 2009/10 season, promoted after winning Zone 2A of the Division One League, and stayed there until relegation in 2015/16 sent them back down. They have played their home games at Gyamfi Park in Bekwai, a ground that holds about 5,000, though bigger occasions have sometimes been shifted to the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi. Yellow shirts and blue shorts have stayed the club's colours throughout.

Ownership sits with Abdul Salam Yakubu, known around the club as Sabato, and it is under his presidency that New Edubiase was put up for sale in 2026. The club now competes in Zone Two of the Division One League.
