Pedreira

Pedreira itself grew out of the Bitar & Irmãos factory, Uzina Santo Antônio da Pedreira, whose employees put the club together on 7 September 1925 under Santiago Moura Palha, its first president.

They are known locally as Gigante da Ilha, the Giant of the Island, and play in blue and white at Estádio São Sebastião, built on land the Parish of Nossa Senhora do Ó handed over in 1946, when the ground still went by the name Praça de Esportes Magalhães Barata. They have not been back to the elite division since.

What Pedreira has instead of a name-brand rivalry is the island itself. Mosqueiro is small enough that Estádio São Sebastião hosts derbies between Triunfo Atlético Clube and Dormilante FC as well as Pedreira's own games.
