Dynava claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Hegelmann II in the 1st League Regular Season on Thursday evening. The match ended 0:1 after a single goal in the 22nd minute decided what was otherwise a contest where one side controlled most of the play. Hegelmann II finished with 59 per cent possession but could not find the net, while Dynava made the most of their chances on the counter.
The only goal came at the 22-minute mark, and it proved sufficient for the visitors. Hegelmann II had worked a short corner and pushed forward, but Dynava's defence held firm before striking back. And here's the thing — one shot on target was all the away side needed to take all three points from a ground where they had little of the ball.
The statistics told a story of imbalance. Hegelmann II registered 219 attacks compared to Dynava's 167, and earned 14 corners to five. Yet Dynava recorded ten shots on target against nine for the hosts, and converted one of theirs. To be fair, the visitors showed sharper efficiency when it mattered.

Dynava were eighth on 37 points from 23 matches, with ten victories and seven draws. The result does little to shift the gap between them, but it extends Dynava's advantage over the hosts.
Form had been mixed for both sides heading into this fixture. Hegelmann II had won their previous visit to Šiauliai II but lost 1-4 to Transinvest two days later. Dynava came off a 0-3 defeat to Minija and were looking to rebuild momentum after a run of unconvincing results.
By then the match was decided. Hegelmann II camped in the final third for long spells, but Dynava kept their side in it and took the moment that mattered. The visitors leave with their points, and the hosts have more work to do to climb away from the bottom half.
