Pennarossa

Three kilometres separate Chiesanuova from Domagnano, and that short distance is where Pennarossa's derby with Murata lives. San Marino Academy provides the other local grudge, but it is Murata that carries the weight of proximity.

The badge explains the name: a red feather, penna rossa, set on the white field of the Castle of Chiesanuova's coat of arms, which is also where the red-and-white kit and the "Biancorossi" nickname come from. The club spent the 1980s away from that identity, run externally and detached from the village, before the local Junta brought it back to Chiesanuova in 1994.

One season stands above the rest. In 2003–04, Pennarossa won the Campionato Sammarinese, still their only league title. The league title carried them into the UEFA Cup qualifying rounds, where Željezničar Sarajevo ended the run at the first qualifying hurdle.

The name better known outside San Marino belongs to Giovanni Kean, who turned out for Pennarossa in 2021–22 and is the older brother of Moise Kean, now a forward at Paris Saint-Germain.
