Singida Big Stars

Namfua Stadium sits in Singida, built to hold 10,000 people, and it is where the club has played its home matches since settling in the region. The team arrived there under a different name and a different purpose, a group of Diamond Trust Bank employees who had first come together in Dar es Salaam under the name DTB FC before the move to Singida brought the switch to Singida Big Stars.

The best run in the club's history came in the 2022–23 season, when it finished 4th in Ligi Kuu Bara, its highest league placing to date, and earned a first appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup. In that competition it beat Zanzibar's JKU SC 4-1 in the first round. The same year brought a run to the final of the Mapinduzi Cup, where Mlandege FC won 2-1. Dutch coach Hans van Pluijm was in charge for that 4th-place finish. The following season, 2024–25, the club dropped back to 14th.

Ghanaian forward Nicholas Gyan captained the side during this period, one of several West African forwards on the books alongside compatriot Brian Adjei and Rwandan striker Meddie Kagere.

In 2023 the club changed its name again, to Singida Fountain Gate FC and then to Fountain Gate FC.
