Zenit Petersburg

Zenit go into this VTB United League campaign under Duško Ivanović with a domestic double already banked from recent seasons.

The roster the club plays under today began somewhere else entirely. It started life in 2003 as BC Dynamo Moscow Region, became BC Triumph Lyubertsy after a 2007 reorganisation, and only in July 2014 made the move to Saint Petersburg, taking the Zenit name and the backing of Gazprom as a department of the wider multi-sports club.

The title that mattered most came in 2022, when Zenit beat CSKA Moscow 4–3 in the VTB United League finals under Xavi Pascual. A Supercup followed in both 2022 and 2023, and the Russian Basketball Cup was added in 2024.

Games are split between the KSK Arena, holding just over 7,000, and the Yubileyni Arena.
