Anton Stefan Andreasson

Anton Andreasson scored ten minutes after coming on in his first outing for IF Elfsborg. On 8 March 2014 he replaced a team-mate in the 76th minute of a Svenska Cupen tie against Rynninge IK and did not score away, but conceded.

He had been at the club since he was five. He spent 18 years in the Borås academy, working through every age group. His father, Stefan, played for Elfsborg and later became its sporting director. Anton's Allsvenskan debut came on 31 August 2014 against Falkenbergs FF. He was also part of the squad that won the Svenska Cupen in 2013/14.

The years after Elfsborg were unsettled. In 2016 he moved to Italy and joined Pro Patria on a free transfer, and he played twice. He came home in 2017 to sign for Jönköpings Södra IF, again on a free, but did not make an appearance. At Östers IF from 2018 he found regular football, with 32 appearances and one goal.

His longest spell has been at Örgryte IS, where he arrived on a free transfer on 9 December 2019. Used mainly as a left midfielder, he has made more than 159 appearances and scored more than 15 goals. The club extended his contract through 2026, announced in September 2024.

The 2025 season was his most productive in Superettan. He played 29 league matches, scored six goals and set up four. Örgryte then won promotion to Allsvenskan through a play-off with IFK Norrköping. The first leg at Gamla Ullevi on 22 November finished 3-0 to Örgryte. The second leg, a week later, was abandoned after nearly four hours because of crowd trouble and pyrotechnics, with the aggregate at 3-0. Andreasson was among the substitutes that night.
