The hosts took an early lead through William Hofvander before Victor Lind equalised from the penalty spot. By then the match had settled into something familiar — Hammarby controlling territory while Ergryte looked for their moment.
Hofvander struck in the tenth minute, finishing a move that stretched the back line. Lind responded eight minutes later, converting his spot-kick to level matters. The visitors dominated possession at seventy per cent but struggled to turn pressure into clear openings.
Coaches began reshaping sides around the hour mark. Oscar Johansson came on for Ergryte in the sixtieth minute, followed by Anton Andreasson six minutes later. Hammarby made three changes at the break — William Hofvander, Paulos Abraham and Noah Karl Anders Persson all left the pitch.
Hammarby created far more chances but could not find a winner. They registered seven big chances against one for the hosts, with ten shots on target compared to two. The visitors had possession but failed to convert, while Ergryte defended with determination and broke into dangerous areas on the counter.
Yellow cards arrived late — Victor Eriksson for Ergryte and Markus Karlsson for Hammarby — before Daniel Paulson and Christoffer Styffe completed the substitutions. The result keeps Hammarby in second place on thirty-seven points, while Ergryte remain fifteenth with twenty.
