About the player
Adrian Helm scored 19 goals in 15 matches for FC Trollhättan's P19 side, and that return brought him his first senior contract in 2022. He had come to the club from Halvorstorps IS, where he started out, and the goals in the youth team were what moved him up.
Italy came next. In September 2023 he joined the Primavera side of US Lecce, and he played 19 matches there and scored three goals. He returned to Sweden.
He came back on 27 August 2024, signing for Ljungskile SK on a free transfer. The club played in Ettan Södra, the third tier. His debut was against FC Trollhättan, the club where he had made his name as a teenager. Helm played nine matches in the autumn, scored twice and set up four goals.
On 15 August 2025 AIK signed him, again on a free transfer, on a contract running until 31 December 2029. It is his first move into the Allsvenskan, after a spell in the lower divisions.
Helm has also played for Sweden at youth level. He has won three caps for the Under-19 side.
