João Pedro Goulart Silva

João Goulart made his first-team debut for Sporting CP in January 2022, in the Taça de Portugal, capping a path through the club's academy that began in the Azores with Fayal Sport and GD Salão before he joined the Sporting setup in 2015. He won the National Juniors Championship with the club's U19 side in the 2016/17 season and played in the UEFA Youth League.

A free transfer to CD Mafra, signed on 28 January 2022. He made 45 league appearances in the Segunda Liga and helped the club win promotion to the Primeira Liga for the 2023–24 season — a promotion he would not see through with the same club, as he left for Casa Pia AC on a free transfer on 5 July 2024.

At Casa Pia, Goulart has established himself as an undisputed starter and captain, wearing the number 4 shirt on a contract that runs to 30 June 2027. He has passed 65 league appearances for the club, with two goals and four assists coming in the 2025/26 Liga Portugal campaign alone, and has also featured in the Taça de Portugal and Taça da Liga. Despite his prominence in Sporting's youth ranks as a teenager, he has not gone on to represent Portugal at any level, senior or junior, and his career to date has brought no individual awards or team trophies.
