About the player
Joan Femenías made his name as a goalkeeper at Real Oviedo, where he played 82 matches between 2020 and 2022.
He comes from Manacor in Mallorca and played youth football for CE Constància. The move to the mainland came through Villarreal, and with their youth side he won the Copa de Campeones Juvenil in 2014–15. He then spent four years in the club's system, appearing 16 times for Villarreal C and 26 times for Villarreal B.
His first step into senior football away from Villarreal was CF Fuenlabrada in 2019. He played six times there before joining Oviedo the following year.
After Oviedo he moved to Levante UD, where he made 17 appearances over two seasons from 2022 to 2024. Real Zaragoza followed, with ten appearances in 2024–25. Each of these moves was a free transfer, as was every other change of club in his senior career.
In 2025 he signed for F.C. Penafiel in Portugal and played 32 times in his first season there. He has not been capped by Spain at senior level.
