About the player
Luca Prasse made his professional debut for SV Meppen on 15 January 2023, against Dynamo Dresden, via JLZ Emsland and JSG Teglingen/Meppen/Schwefingen after starting out at SV Concordia Suurhusen and Kickers Emden. Between 2023 and 2025 he made 71 appearances for Meppen and scored 12 goals.
The high point of that spell came on 28 March 2024, when Meppen beat Blau-Weiß Lohne 2:0 in the final of the Niedersachsenpokal. Prasse played a part in the win, setting up Kai Westerhoff's own goal for the visitors.
His form earned him a move to Holstein Kiel in the summer of 2025, on a contract running until 2029. Kiel immediately loaned him back to Meppen for the 2025/26 season. He also had a spell with Holstein Kiel II, where he made 17 appearances and scored 7 goals. In January 2026 he was loaned to FSV Zwickau until the end of the season, playing 14 matches and scoring 4 goals there.
On 11 June 2026 Prasse returned to Meppen once again, this time on a season-long loan from Holstein Kiel for the 2026/27 campaign, taking him back to the club where his senior career began.
