Nuno Martins

Nuno Miguel Alves Martins, known as Nuninho, came up through one club in his home town and did not leave it for a long time. Anadia FC was his only youth side, from 2016 to 2021. It was also where he played his first senior football, in the Portuguese third tier between 2022 and 2024.

The move away came in the summer of 2024 and took him abroad. In August he signed for UE Santa Coloma in Andorra, and later the same month he moved to another Andorran club, FC Ordino. He stayed with Ordino until 2025. That July he joined Union Titus Petange in Luxembourg, so in the space of a year he changed both club and country twice.

He is a midfielder who can also play on the left wing, and he prefers his right foot. That flexibility suited a career spent adapting to new dressing rooms and new leagues, at an age when many players are still at the first club that signed them.

On 1 July 2026 he signed for FC Penafiel on a contract that runs until 30 June 2027.

He was born and trained in Anadia, and his early years there remain the longest stretch he has spent at any one club.
