Clywedog Park sits off Homestead Lane, a ground built for standing rather than sitting: of the 1,000 capacity, most of it is terrace and open space along the touchline. It is the kind of venue where the crowd is close enough to hear the instructions from the bench, and it has been home to Brickfield Rangers .

Until last season, the honours board held second places and little else — runners-up in the Welsh National League (Wrexham Area) Premier Division in 2016–17 and again the following year. That changed in 2024–25, when Brickfield won Ardal North East and took the first title in the club's history. The same season brought them to the Ardal North Cup final, where Porthmadog beat them.

The green and white hoops are the part of the club most people in Wrexham would recognise, but the recognition Brickfield has collected has mostly come from off the pitch. In 2014 the FAW gave a Lifetime Achievement Award to the club's chairman, Paul Hooson. The 2024–25 promotion arrived alongside FAW Platinum accreditation.

The reserve side has its own line in this: a Welsh National League reserves and colts division championship and cup double in 2017–18.
