Kauan Toledo

Kauan Toledo was born in Sorocaba, where he took his first steps in the game at a local school before joining the scholarship project at Santos and the futsal club Magnus, where he won a world title. After trials at São Paulo and a spell with Nacional-SP, he joined the youth academy at Desportivo Brasil in 2021, working his way through the Sub-15 and Sub-17 categories before making his senior debut for the club in April 2023.

Botafogo brought him in on loan to their under-20 side in March 2024. Toledo scored in the first leg of the final as Botafogo won the Torneio Octavio Pinto Guimarães Sub-20, and he was also runner-up with the club in the Campeonato Brasileiro de Aspirantes. Botafogo exercised the option to sign him outright from Desportivo Brasil in February 2025, tying him to a contract that was later extended to 2029, and he made his senior debut for the club that same month.

Since then, Toledo has featured across Botafogo's competitions. In 2026 alone he has appeared in the Brasileirão, the Copa Sudamericana, the Copa Libertadores and the Campeonato Carioca, scoring in both the Sudamericana and the Carioca and adding assists in the league. In September 2025, he trained with Brazil's under-20 squad under Ramon Menezes ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, though he did not make the final tournament roster.
