The Czech-Slovak Cup is a joint cross-border basketball tournament involving clubs from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It was revived in 2021 after an 18-year hiatus following the original Czechoslovak-era competition which ended in 2003. The revival was initiated by a joint organizing committee comprising club representatives and league directors rather than being directly organized by national federations.
The tournament is not part of the domestic league pyramid and involves no promotion or relegation. Participation is based on qualification from the Czech National Basketball League (NBL) and the Slovak Basketball League (SBL). The format for recent editions, including 2024 and 2025, adopted a Final 8 structure with four teams from each nation. These matches are played over a single weekend in one host city.
The competition includes separate men's and women's divisions. In the men's division, ERA Basketball Nymburk is the dominant force, having won the titles in 2023/24 and 2024/25. The inaugural revived men's winner in 2021/22 was BKM Lučenec. In the women's division, Piešťanské Čajky are the current holders, winning the 2023/24 and 2024/25 editions. The 2022 women's edition was won by Sokol Hradec Králové.
The Czech-Slovak Cup serves as a unique bilateral competition that fosters cross-border rivalry. It remains distinct from the domestic Czech Basketball Cup and Slovak Basketball Cup.
