Lakers hire Eric Amsler from Heat as assistant GM
Los Angeles adds Eric Amsler, a 22-year Miami Heat front-office veteran, as assistant general manager alongside Rohan Ramadas under Rob Pelinka.
The Lakers are set to hire Eric Amsler away from the Miami Heat as an assistant general manager, ESPN's Shams Charania reported.
Amsler spent more than 22 years inside the Heat organisation, starting as an intern and working his way through roles in scouting, personnel and the club's G League operation.
At the Lakers, he will share the assistant general manager title with Rohan Ramadas, with both reporting to club president Rob Pelinka.
