Julius Randle: Nets Will Exceed Expectations
New Brooklyn forward Julius Randle vows to surpass low projections after last season's 20-62 finish, pointing to the team's young, draft-heavy roster.
Julius Randle says the Brooklyn Nets are not settling for low expectations this season.
"Whatever your expectations are, whatever expectations are placed on us, we will exceed them and compete at a high standard. We will develop and work on the right habits every day," Randle said.
Randle joined Brooklyn in a move from Minnesota. The club are building around youth rather than a quick fix: the roster includes seven players taken in the first round of the last two drafts.
