Aaron Gordon: I'm Ready for New Nuggets Season
The Denver forward says he fixed both his body and mindset over the offseason after injuries limited him to 36 regular-season games last year.
Aaron Gordon says he heads into the new season in better shape than last year, after a campaign cut short by injuries.
"This off-season I thought a lot about myself and trained hard, so I've got both my head and my body in order. I'm ready," the Denver forward said.
The 30-year-old played just 36 regular-season games last term because of fitness problems, and his playoff run lasted just three games. Denver went on to lose their first-round series against the Timberwolves in six games.
If Gordon stays fit through the campaign, Denver could finally advance past the second round, unlike last spring.
