Denver is exploring a move for forward Cam Whitmore, waived by Cleveland after a summer trade, following a season limited by deep vein thrombosis in Washington.
The Denver Nuggets are showing interest in free agent Cam Whitmore, according to Sports.ru.
The 22-year-old Forward moved to the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer as part of a multi-team trade involving Payton Watson, only to be waived shortly afterwards. Whitmore, taken with the 20th pick at the 2023 draft, spent last season with Washington but played just 21 games after deep vein thrombosis was diagnosed in January.
Across three NBA seasons, Whitmore has averaged 10.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 17.3 minutes a game, shooting 34.9% from three-point range.
