Washington centre Alex Sarr will begin training camp on limited work but should be ready for the start of the regular season, general manager Will Dawkins said.

Sarr broke a bone in his foot during a summer workout and had surgery in mid-June.

Last season the 21-year-old Frenchman played 48 games, averaging 16.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 27 minutes.
