Tyrese Haliburton has revealed that several artists demanded as much as $750,000 for a 30-minute performance at his wedding, forcing him to negotiate directly over social media before 50 Cent stepped in to perform for free.
The Indiana Pacers guard explained that 50 Cent, whose alcohol brand sponsors the club, had originally been expected to attend as a guest. Haliburton decided against having him perform his own song from the crowd and instead asked for help finding other acts.
50 Cent ultimately chose not to attend as a guest at all, performing from the stage without charge. Haliburton said he would remain grateful for the gesture "for the rest of his life".
