“The Lakers had the most overrated off-season,” Scott said. “A team that, as you claim, will win 58 games. I am just telling it like it is. I am devoted to the purple and gold to the marrow of my bones. But everyone was just talking about these wonderful acquisitions... No, I do not see it yet.”
The Lakers added Walker Kessler, Quentin Grimes, Sandro Mamukelashvili, Kevon Looney, Collin Sexton, Jayden Hardy, Zaire Williams and Matiss Tiegers over the summer.
Scott’s comments come as the team prepares for the new campaign. He is not alone in his scepticism regarding the projected win total.
