Brian Alexis Ocampo Ferreira

Brian Alexis Ocampo Ferreira came through the youth ranks at Nacional, he was part of the Nacional under-20 side that won the 2018 Copa Libertadores Sub-20 and took silver at the South American Games that year, before making his professional debut for the club in July 2018. At senior level he settled quickly into the Nacional side, making 92 league appearances and scoring eight goals across four seasons, and he left with three Uruguayan Primera División titles and a Supercopa Uruguaya to his name.

His first competitive goal in Spain came in January 2023 against Elche, but the following March he suffered an ACL injury that kept him out until November of that year. He returned to make 31 La Liga appearances and 95 in all competitions for the club, adding two league goals, before his contract ran its course.

Internationally, Ocampo had already gone through Uruguay's underage sides, before earning his senior debut in June 2021 in a 1–0defeat to Argentina at the Copa América. He was named in Uruguay's squads for the 2021 and 2024 editions of the tournament, the latter ending with Uruguay finishing third.
