César Rafael Ramos Becerra

César Ramos came through the Monterrey academy and won the U20 League with the club in the 2020/2021 Clausura before stepping into the professional game. His debut came not in Liga MX but a division below: on 25 August 2021 he started for Raya2, Monterrey's reserve side, against Club Celaya in the Liga de Expansión MX. Over the following two years he made 28 appearances there.

At Monterrey itself he remained third-choice, and an official Liga MX debut never came during that spell. He was part of the squad that won the Copa MX in 2019/2020, though he was not among those who featured when Monterrey lifted the CONCACAF Champions Cup in 2021 — the gloves that season belonged to Esteban Andrada.

A move away finally brought him regular first-team involvement, at least on the bench. In June 2025 he joined Atlas on a season-long loan as a free transfer, taking up the backup role behind Camilo Vargas, and made one appearance in the 2025/2026 Liga MX campaign. He was due to return to Monterrey in July 2026, with his contract at the club running to June 2028.

Internationally, Ramos represented Mexico at under-17 level but has not been capped at senior level.
