Cristián Alexander Zavala Briones

Cristián Zavala shuttled between Colo-Colo and Coquimbo Unido. He made his professional debut for Coquimbo in June 2018 and helped the side win the Primera B title and promotion to the top flight. A loan to Arturo Fernández Vial in 2020 brought a Segunda División title, and a move to Deportes Melipilla in 2021 turned into his breakout season: 32 matches, five goals and eight assists, enough for La Tercera's El Deportivo to name him the best left winger of the year.

That form took him to Colo-Colo in late 2021, where he won the Primera División twice, in 2022 and 2024, along with two editions of the Supercopa de Chile. In between, a loan to Curicó Unido in 2023 saw him lead the league in assists with nine, even as Curicó were relegated. He returned to Coquimbo Unido on loan in 2025 and won the Primera División title with them, then went back to Colo-Colo before a further loan to Coquimbo in January 2026.

At international level, Zavala has earned three caps for Chile. He debuted on 9 December 2021 in a 2-2 friendly draw against Mexico, played in a 1-0 win over El Salvador three days later, and featured in a 3-0 win against Albania in March 2024. He was included in Chile's squad for the Copa América 2024 but did not appear in any of the tournament's matches.
