Dalbert Henrique Chagas Estevão

Dalbert Inter Milan paid Nice around €20-21 million for him in July 2017, having watched him move from Portugal to France for a fraction of that sum only a year earlier. He had come through the youth ranks at Barra Mansa before brief spells at Fluminense and Flamengo, only turning professional once he reached Académico de Viseu.

Across parts of six seasons at the club he made 24 competitive appearances and scored once, in the Coppa Italia in 2019, but loan spells at Fiorentina, Rennes and Cagliari became the more regular pattern of his career there. The timing worked against him: Inter won Serie A in 2020-21 and the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana in 2021-22, but Dalbert was out on loan at Rennes and Cagliari respectively during those campaigns and does not figure among the players credited with those titles.

Since leaving Inter he has moved between Brazilian clubs on a series of free transfers, joining Internacional in 2023, then Sport Recife in 2024, before signing for América Mineiro in July 2025. A left-back capable of playing higher up on the left of midfield, he has continued to find regular football at each stop without adding to the profile he built during his European years. He has not been capped by Brazil at senior level, and missed out on the Brazil under-20 sides that won the South American Youth Championship and the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2013.
