About the player
Evelyn Ijeh before the move that changed her career. At Växjö DFF, across the 2022 and 2023 seasons, she scored 32 goals in 42 appearances.
Her path there had already taken a few turns. She came through IFK Göteborg's system, known at the time as Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC, and won the Damallsvenskan title with the club in 2020 as well as two editions of the Svenska Cupen.
Within months she was on the move again, out on loan to AC Milan, a switch that became permanent the following year. In Italy she scored 16 goals in 35 league appearances, taking her to the NWSL and North Carolina Courage.
She made her senior debut during the qualifying rounds for the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 and has since scored for Sweden against Luxembourg.
