Everton

Éverson spent most of his early career far from Brazilian football's big stages, working his way up through Guaratinguetá after coming through the São Paulo academy. Spells at River-PI and Confiança followed, and both were more than passing stops: he won the Campeonato Piauiense with the former and helped Confiança to promotion while lifting the Campeonato Sergipano with the latter.

It was at Ceará, from 2015, that he established himself. He won back-to-back editions of the Campeonato Cearense in 2017 and 2018, and was named the competition's best goalkeeper in both years via the Troféu Verdes Mares. That form earned him a move to Santos in January 2019 for a reported fee of R$ 4 million.

His time at Santos was brief. In September 2020 he joined Atlético-MG for around R$ 6 million, and it is there that his career has taken off. He has since won the Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa do Brasil in 2021, the Supercopa do Brasil in 2022, and the Campeonato Mineiro in five consecutive years from 2021 to 2025. His performances in the 2021 Copa do Brasil run earned him the Luva de Ouro as the competition's best goalkeeper, and he later added the Bola de Prata to his collection.

He has twice been called up to the senior Brazil squad, in August 2021 and again in March 2024, without yet making an official appearance. At club level, though, he has become a fixture: by April 2025 he had made more than 300 appearances for Atlético-MG, and in December 2024 the club extended his contract through to the end of 2027.
