Francisco Salinas

He joined the club's youth ranks in 2014, signed his first professional contract in January 2019 and made his senior debut the following month. Over four seasons as a regular starter at right-back, he made 113 league appearances and scored four goals.

A loan to Unión La Calera in 2023 added 25 appearances, two goals and three assists to his record, and in January 2024 he signed for Coquimbo Unido. The move was interrupted by a second loan back to San Felipe for the second half of 2024, where he played 14 times and scored once, before he returned to Coquimbo in January 2025 on what became, by the start of 2026, a permanent transfer.

That return paid off. Salinas was part of the Coquimbo Unido side that won the 2025 Chilean Primera División , beating Unión La Calera 2-0 to seal the title — the first league championship in the club's 67-year history. Weeks later, Coquimbo added the Supercopa de Chile, edging Universidad Católica 8-7 on penalties after the sides had drawn 0-0.

The domestic success coincided with international recognition. Salinas received his first call-up to the Chile national team in October 2025 for a friendly against Peru, without featuring, before making his senior debut on 15 November 2025 against Russia at the Fisht Stadium in Sochi, a match Chile won 2-0.
