About the player
Marisa Jordan was taken in the fourth round of the 2022 NWSL Draft by the North Carolina Courage. After four years at Purdue, where she set the program record with 113 saves in a single season and picked up Second-team All-Big Ten honours, she served as backup to Casey Murphy for three seasons.
In the July 2024 NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup, Jordan started four matches and saved two penalties in a shootout against Orlando Pride, the first sustained run of first-team football in her career. It took until September 2025 for her to make her NWSL regular-season debut, against Utah Royals, and she posted her first regular-season clean sheet later that month in a 1–0 win over Orlando Pride.
In December 2025, the Courage traded her to Kansas City Current in exchange for a 2026 international roster spot. She made her Kansas City debut in the Challenge Cup against Gotham FC the following June, and her first clean sheet for the club came in her regular-season debut, a 3–0 win over Denver Summit in July 2026.
Jordan, born in Hartland, Wisconsin, stands 1.88 m tall and plays with her right foot. Alongside her football career at Purdue, she was recognised three times as an Academic All-Big Ten honouree.
