BDU-Tsmoki Women

The women's side did not start from nothing. Under the Tsmoki-Minsk name it had won the Belarusian championship in 2016–17 and again in 2017–18, which is the record the new team inherited. It has not won the league since the rebranding. The closest it came was the 2020 Cup of Belarus, where it reached the final and lost 87:43 to Horizont Minsk, taking silver.

The men's team plays in Minsk Arena, which holds about 15,000. The women have no arena of their own. They train in BSU's halls: the Universitetsky complex, the Burevestnik complex on Masherova Street and the new physical culture complex on Kurchatova Street. Matches move between venues. The colours are white and dark blue, and the university's emblem serves as the badge.

The club's rivals are its neighbours in Minsk. One is Tsmoki-Minsk Women, the other side to carry the parent club's name. The other is Horizont Minsk, who beat BDU-Tsmoki in that 2020 cup final.
