The Yeni Buca Stadyumu holds 8,810 people. It sits in the Buca district of Izmir.

That path started in 2011 as İzmir İl Özel İdarespor, passed through Tire in 2013 under the name Tire 1922 Spor, and only reached Buca in July 2019, when Cihan Aktaş bought the club and shifted its base there, renaming it Buca Futbol Kulübü. In February 2020 the original Bucaspor, founded in 1928, was dissolved, and Buca FK took the name Bucaspor 1928 to carry its legacy forward. By May 2021 the transfer was complete on paper too: the club acquired the old Bucaspor's crest, its yellow and navy blue colours, and the nickname Fırtına, the Storm. Turkish football federation records still treat it as a separate entity from the original club, so none of the old honours carry over.

In the 2020–21 season, Bucaspor 1928 won the TFF 3. Lig play-off final, beating İskenderun FK on penalties, 5–4, after a 2–2 draw, and went up to the TFF 2. Lig.
