Buran Voronezh

DS Yubileyny holds barely over 3,000 people. Buran Voronezh has called it home through name changes that trace back to a Dynamo Voronezh side from 1949, though the club itself dates its life from 1977, when the franchise was reorganised under the Buran name. A decade under the name HC Voronezh, between 1996 and 2006, gave way to a return to Buran, the identity that has stuck.

The high point came in the 2012/13 Supreme Hockey League season, when Buran reached the final and lost to Toros Neftekamsk. Because Toros played under a Kazakh licence, Buran, as the top-placed Russian side in the playoffs, took the silver medal. Pavel Kopytin was named the league's best forward that same season before moving on to the Kontinental Hockey League with Atlant Mytishchi and Sibir Novosibirsk. Three years later, in 2016, Buran added the VHL Russian Classic to its record, following regional First League titles in 2011 and 2012.

The club plays in blue and white, colours that have carried it through the Supreme Hockey League fixtures at Yubileyny for years.
