The only national recognition HC Ehrendingen has to show came in 2014, when the club received the Sanitas Challenge Award for a school programme, Handball macht Schule, that puts the sport in front of pupils at more than thirty schools.
Founded in 1997 and based in Ehrendingen, a district of Baden in canton Aargau, HCE now counts over 230 active players. The senior men's side, playing as HSG Ehrendingen Celtics, rents the Go Easy Arena in Station Siggenthal instead.
Zoltan Cordas, who coached the youth ranks through the award-winning years, returned in 2023 to take charge of the senior side.
