Espoo Team Women

Espoo took the 2008–2009 Finnish Championship final by beating Catz Lappeenranta 3–1, and Siiri Nuutinen was named the series MVP; that same season the club also lifted the Finnish Cup, pairing the two trophies in one campaign.

The women's side carried the name Espoo Team rather than Espoo Basket Team, because it ran as a joint operation between EBT and Tapiolan Honka from the 2004–2005 season until it was dissolved in spring 2012. Before that arrangement began, Espoo Basket Team had already reached a domestic final on its own, finishing runner-up in the SM-sarja in 2003–2004.

Games are played at Espoonlahden urheiluhalli, a hall holding 1,000 spectators, and the team takes the floor in white and black shirts trimmed with red rather than under any nickname beyond the EBT initials.

American guard-forward Carmen Tyson-Thomas gave the club its most recent standout scoring season, averaging 26.5 points a game in 2022–2023, following American forward Hannah Little's spell three seasons earlier.

EBT now competes in Naisten Korisliiga, the top flight of Finnish women's basketball, while a second team, EBT II, plays in the 1st Division below it.
