Loon-Plage Basket

ASLP won the National 1 title, beating Poitiers Basket 86 over two legs of the playoff final, dropping the opener away 47–60 before closing it out at home 81–71.

Locally the club is known as les Toons, and its fiercest matches are against Berck-sur-Mer and Boulogne-sur-Mer, games the region simply calls the derby du littoral. Among the squad, Cheikh Bamba Diallo has carried Senegalese international experience into a team otherwise built on regional roots, while Vincent Sanford brought Pro A pedigree to a club that rarely sees players with that level on their résumé.

The team still plays at the Salle Georges Carpentier.
