«The Bluebells»
The Sparbanken Skåne Arena in Klostergården holds three thousand for handball, a hall H43 Lund shares with the club it defines itself against, Lugi HF.
The current club is younger than its record suggests. The original H43 was founded in 1943 by a school class and their teacher, Yngve Wallmer, and it went bankrupt in December 2014. A new club was formed weeks later, on 28 January 2015, starting again in Division 3. It took until the 2023/24 season, with promotion out of Division 2, for H43 to work its way back to Allsvenskan for 2025/26.
What the old club left behind was a name, the Bluebells, and a scoring record that will not be touched soon: Zoran Roganović finished as its all-time top scorer with 2,277 goals and won the league's top-scorer title six times between 2006 and 2014. The men's team spent 34 seasons in the top flight without ever taking the Swedish championship, coming closest with second place in 1965/66.
