Toulouse Basketball Club plays this campaign in Nationale 1, the third tier of French basketball, under a name it dropped and then took back. The club merged with the rugby side Stade Toulousain in 2023 and competed for two seasons as Stade Toulousain Basketball; in 2025 it reverted to Toulouse Basketball Club, switched to burgundy and cream.

The club traces its sporting rights back to Toulouse Launaguet Basket, on whose disappearance it was founded in 2004 by Stéphane Perrin and Philippe Laperche. It plays as Les Toros — the Bulls — at the Petit Palais des Sports, also known as Salle Pierre-Laplace.

Its one major trophy came in an amateur competition: the Trophée Coupe de France, won in 2018 after a 81-73 overtime victory over Kaysersberg ABCA in the final at the Accor Arena in Paris.

1,860 seats fit inside the Petit Palais des Sports.
