Atlántico pushed for a response, but Mocá controlled the tempo. Oliveros added his second in the fifty-ninth minute, and Rubirosa Perez completed the scoring in the sixty-eighth. By then, the result was never really in doubt.

Atlántico's recent form reads like a cautionary tale. They travelled to Vega Real and lost 5-0, followed by a 6-1 defeat to Salcedo, then 4-1 against Cibao. They lost 2-0 to Jarabacoa and held Delphin del Este to a goalless draw before that.
Mocá's run looks more resilient. They beat Cibao 2-1 away, kept a clean sheet against Jarabacoa 1-0, and drew with Universidad O&M, Salcedo, and Vega Real. Three wins, three draws, zero defeats.
