Agustín Cayetano Arbelo

Agustín Cayetano Arbelo came through the youth academy at Institución Atlética Sud América and made his first-team debut there on 3 March 2018, in the Segunda División. He stayed with the club through the 2021 season, making 34 league appearances and scoring three goals, and was part of the squad that won the Segunda División title in 2020, a result that took Sud América up to the Primera División for the following campaign.

In January 2022 he moved to Liverpool Montevideo as a free agent, and he has held a regular place in the side ever since. Across the 2023/2024 seasons he passed 50 league appearances for the club, scoring once, with 25 league matches played during the 2023 championship-winning season. That year Liverpool were crowned champions of the Campeonato Uruguayo, and the club went on to add the Supercopa Uruguaya in both 2023 and 2024. In the 2024 final, played against Defensor Sporting, Arbelo was named in the starting lineup as Liverpool won 1–0.

He has not featured for Uruguay's senior national team.
