A. Hanes

Adam Hanes came through the academy at MFK Dukla Banská Bystrica after starting out at MFK Detva, and signed his first senior contract with Dukla in 2020. Rather than being fast-tracked into the first team, he was sent out on loan twice to gain experience: first to MFK Dolný Kubín across the 2022–23 and 2023–24 seasons in the Slovak 2. Liga, where he scored once in each campaign, and then to MFK Zvolen, for the second half of the 2024–25 season. That spell at Zvolen was his most productive by some distance — twelve appearances brought him five goals and an assist in the 2. Liga.

Back at Dukla, Hanes has been a regular contributor, scoring three goals in 28 appearances in the 2025–26 season and continuing into 2026–27 with sixteen appearances so far. Across his time at the club in all competitions he has been directly involved in 21 goals, with 13 scored and eight assisted. He was part of the Dukla squad that finished runners-up in the 2. Liga in both 2020–21 and 2021–22, results that carried the club up into the Fortuna Liga.

At international level, Hanes has represented Slovakia at youth level, with a single cap for the under-19s in a friendly against Hungary in 2021, followed by two under-21 friendly appearances in 2023.
