Artem Shchedryi

In July 2024 Artem Shchedryi was named A Lyga Player of the Month after scoring three goals in three consecutive victories for Hegelmann. He had joined the Lithuanian club that January as a free agent and has been a regular starter since. On 2 January 2026 he signed an extension for the 2026 season, his third with the club.

The route there was long. He came through the youth ranks at Olimpik Donetsk and then Dynamo Kyiv, where he was a Ukrainian Youth Champion. He was part of the Dynamo senior squad from 2009 to 2011 but made no league appearances. Instead he played 26 times for Dynamo-2 Kyiv.

Regular football came later. After a single appearance for Volyn Lutsk, he spent 2014 to 2017 at Zirka Kropyvnytskyi, where he played 77 games and scored nine goals. Zirka won the Ukrainian First League in 2015–16. He won the same competition again with Dnipro-1 in 2018–19, having played 15 matches for the club in 2018. At Inhulets Petrove he added 51 appearances and two goals between 2019 and 2021.

Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih signed him on a free transfer in July 2021. Loans followed in 2022, first to Levadia Tallinn, where he scored once in three games and won the Estonian Supercup, then to Prostějov in the Czech Republic for six appearances.

His move to Lithuania began with Panevėžys in 2023. He played 27 games, scored three goals and won the A Lyga with the club. Hegelmann followed a year later.
